Discover the story of Jean-Michel Karam, the child of war turned multi-entrepreneur.

Jean Michel Karam arrived from Lebanon in 1990 and began his career as a researcher at the CNRS. In 1997, he founded MEMSCAP, a company manufacturing electromagnetic micro-systems, which he floated on the stock market less than three years later at a record valuation of $430 million.

In 2010, Jean Michel Karam launched IOMA, specializing in personalized cosmetics. Sold to Unilever and then bought out, IOMA is now part of the IEVA Group, which brings together technological innovations, brands and beauty chains.
