Discover the story of Mathieu Nebra, an entrepreneur committed to making education accessible everywhere and to everyone.
In 1999, Mathieu was 13 and driven by a desire to learn how to create a website.
Frustrated by the complexity of the resources available at the time, he decided to set up his own site to enable as many people as possible to program from scratch. This was the start of “Le Site du Zéro”, one of the very first sites dedicated to computer development in French. With a whole generation of developers following its lead, “le Site du Zéro” quickly became a reference on the French-speaking web.
Three years later, he joined forces with Pierre Dubuc, a regular contributor to the site. The two partners then developed a new version of the site, enabling users to create and share their own tutorials.
In 2013, the “Site du Zéro” became “OpenClassrooms”, offering a wide range of learning paths tailored to the needs of the job market. Their mission? Making education accessible to everyone, everywhere.
