In 2001, Jacques-Antoine Granjon and his 7 partners launched vente-privee.com, an online events-based sales site. The idea was to sell a limited selection of brand-name items over a short period of time, at very attractive prices.
With 22 million members in 8 European countries, the company changed its name to Veepee in 2019. Every day, nearly 3 million members examine an increasingly diversified offer. The platform, which in its early days offered mainly ready-to-wear, has since duplicated its model in many sectors: fashion accessories, home furnishings, toys, sporting goods, high-tech, travel, wine, gastronomy and ticketing.
