      About the CPME

      The CPME (formerly CGPME) is the employers' organization that represents and defends the interests of French microbusinesses and SMEs before public authorities and social partners.

      With a network of 110 professional federations, trade unions, and 117 regional unions in all departments, including overseas territories, the Confederation proudly promotes the values and specific characteristics of these human-scale companies: commitment, risk-taking, proximity, and creativity.

      Recognized as the leading employers' organization in terms of the number of member companies in 2021 by the High Council for Social Dialogue, it brings together more than 243,000 companies employing 4 million people.
