The Metropole de Lyon is a unique local authority in France. Created in 2015, it is the only one to combine so many different missions and skills.
It implements ambitious public policies for its fellow citizens and carries out its public service missions in a wide range of fields: mobility, environment, urban planning, housing, social aid, child protection, the elderly, disability, professional integration, colleges, economic development, roads, water, waste, tourism, culture, sport, etc.
