Tristan Quélin 's first entrepreneurial adventure began in 2010. As a 1st-year Master's student in business law at the Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas, he co-founded the first pétanque association on his campus: La Boule d'Assas.

This experience opened his eyes to his entrepreneurial potential and prompted him to leave his law studies to join the EMLyon Business School 1 year later.

After a first experience in intrapreneurship, Tristan joined some friends on a world tour. It was during this trip that he met the person who would later change his career: one of the creators of the first escape games in France.

That's when it all clicked: his next project was to create an indoor game.

In 2019, inspired by TV shows, he and Charles Babinet decided to create a new type of entertainment based on immersive, fun quizzes: Quiz Room. The two friends' objective is clear: to become the benchmark in this field.

Quiz Room quickly won over game enthusiasts, taking 3rd place at the " Révélations de la Franchise 2022 " awards. A year later, it was awarded the Trophy for the Best Franchise in France.

Today, Quiz Room is :

• 60 centers, including almost 50 franchises in 6 countries 
• A team of over 60 employees
• Over 500,000 players by 2023
• A board game launched in 2021: Chiche ou Pois Chiche (Chick or Chickpea)
