Discussion with Eric Larchevêque

About us
💬 Discussion with Eric Larchevêque, co-founder of Ledger.

A seasoned serial entrepreneur, Eric Larchevêque has set up a number of projects in France and Europe, including Montorgueil, the leading French-speaking player in online dating and entertainment, acquired by Rentabiliweb in 2007, and Prixing, a mobile application price comparison service, sold to HighCo in 2013.

Fascinated by blockchain and its possible applications, he founded the Maison du Bitcoin in 2014, a space designed to promote its innovative aspects, and Europe's first decentralized digital currency buying counter. He is its director until 2017, when he appoints a new CEO, Nicolas Louvet, and becomes Chairman of the Board of Directors.

At the end of 2014, he also founded Ledger, which quickly became the world leader in security solutions for crypto-assets, employing 170 people and having raised over €70 million. He served as CEO from 2015 to mid-2019, before handing over to Pascal Gauthier.

In early 2020, he took part as a jury member/expert in "Qui veut être mon associé?" on M6, a show where entrepreneurs pitch their projects to investors in an attempt to raise money and accelerate their startups.

Since then, he has been cutting wood in Sologne and working on projects to develop entrepreneurship in all its forms.
