13M, the first gas pedal in favor of digital inclusion, by Banque des Territoires, Groupe SOS, H7 and Pulse Group, welcomes its second promotion. Discover the winners who will be supported in their strategic and operational challenges over the next 9 months: Coyali, CLIC&MOI, Konexio and WeeeFund.

In 2023, 16 million French people will still be digitally excluded. This observation gave rise to 13M, the first nationwide gas pedal for digital inclusion, operated by Groupe SOS, H7 and Pulse Groupe.

The four new winners cover a broad spectrum of solutions for bridging the digital divide, from skills training and access to equipment, to services and uses.

Coyali - Simplifying life for seniors and their families

Founded by Pauline Beuchillot and Maxime Tajan

Pauline Beuchillot, co-founder and CEO of Coyali

Coyali is an application created by Pauline Beuchillot and Maxime Tajan. It simplifies the smartphone interface, making it more accessible to people with digital difficulties.ย

For a year, the two co-founders went out to meet seniors to understand their fears and difficulties. Working alongside occupational therapists, a paramedical discipline specializing in re-education and rehabilitation, they studied the mechanisms involved and launched a first version of the app in October 2022.ย

In addition to Coyali, Pauline and Maxime are developing Coyali Compagnon. A secondary app to be installed on a loved one's phone to help and support the elderly in using their smartphone from a distance.

Having just passed the 10,000 download mark, Coyali is looking to continue its commercial development, raise its profile and develop solid partnerships with public-sector players such as local authorities.

A word from Pauline, co-founder: "With Coyali, we want to enable seniors to recreate social links with those around them and to improve their digital skills. Digital inclusion is a virtuous circle, in which everyone contributes to the edifice. We want to work closely with other players in the sector. Together, it's essential that we enable everyone to be fully on board with the massive digitalization of our society."

Konexio - Making digital an opportunity for everyone

Founded by Jean Guo

Jean-Christophe Vidal, Executive Vice-President, Konexio

Since 2016, Konexio has been offering digital training courses for people who are far from employment (refugees, young people from priority urban districts, people undergoing retraining etc). The aim: to enable them to enhance their skills in order to promote their employability.ย

Since its creation, Konexio has helped nearly 7,000 people in two ways:

  • Office skills, a must on the job market
  • Digital professions, for those who want to explore the career opportunities offered by digital and new technologies.ย

By 2023, almost 50 people will be involved in the project in France and abroad. In the coming months, Konexio aims to continue its growth and help even more people back into employment.

A word from Jean-Christophe Vidal, Executive Vice President: "Digital inclusion means enabling everyone to use everyday tools. Our vision is that this use must have a purpose. In particular, finding a job to help oneself socially and financially. Jean, the founder, often says that talent is distributed fairly, but opportunities are not. Thanks to digital technology, Konexio wants to reveal talent in order to find opportunities."

CLIC&MOI - Encouraging seniors to develop their digital skills

Founded by Aaron Teboulย

Aaron Teboul, founder of CLIC&MOI

CLIC&MOI offers senior citizens and companies digital training courses run by young people and students. Through these actions, Aaron aims to establish digital inclusion within companies and administrations, to reduce the digital divide and fight against the precariousness of young people.ย

Companies, departments, local authorities and social action organizations can offer their customers and beneficiaries CLIC&MOI workshops. Since its creation, the network's 5,000 students have trained over 10,000 people.ย

By bringing seniors and students together, CLIC&MOI creates intergenerational links and improves learning conditions for seniors. Today, CLIC&MOI is present in nearly 300 French towns and cities. Over the next few months, the team hopes to go even further in measuring its social impact, to scale up and duplicate the model on a European scale within 3 years.

A word from Aaron, founder of CLIC&MOI: "Today, everything depends on digital technology. Of the 16 million French people affected by digital illiteracy, 8 million are seniors. At the same time, inflation is exacerbating student insecurity, and it's vital to tackle the problem. With CLIC&MOI, we want to reduce the digital divide, re-establish proximity and facilitate learning through intergenerational links."

WeeeFund - Reducing electronic waste and fighting the digital divide

Founded by Cyprien Lefebvre and Thรฉo Fayolle

Thรฉo Charousset, co-director of WeeeFund

Cyprien Lefebvre and Thรฉo Fayolle have created WeeeFund - 3 "e" for Maintenance / Education / Equipment -, which collects and reconditions electronic waste from companies to make it available to the financially, socially and digitally disadvantaged.

The company collects and reconditions the computers itself. Each donation made by companies is accompanied by digital training programs to enable each beneficiary to be self-sufficient. Since its creation in 2017, WeeeFund has given a second life to 1,900 computers, and enabled 2,700 people to benefit from their actions. In total, we have avoided 526 tonnes of CO2.

Over the coming months, the team aims to structure its model, duplicate it nationwide and set up collaborations with other players in the field of digital inclusion.

A word from Thรฉo Charousset, Co-Director: "In France, 3 million computers are destroyed every year. 40% of people in precarious situations face difficulties with digital technology. Our beneficiaries include people who are far from employment, people living in priority neighborhoods, people with disabilities, etc. Our mission addresses both social and environmental issues."
